Rob and I have had a blast for the past few years teaching a Blues Grooves Seminar at the National Guitar Workshop. We were thrilled (and excited too) when the NGW asked us to run the class at their Nashville campus next summer. The class focuses on all of the cool and hip rhythms in all of the different blues styles or "feels." If you're into blues and want to really get to be a better player come on down and join us for a fun week with all those "Nashville Cats." Check out the class and the National Guitar Workshop at www.guitarworkshop.com. I also teach a great Beatles seminar at their Connecticut campus each summer. |

The famous A-Liner has finally stopped rolling down the road. The A-Liner is a really cool trailer/mobile home that Rob and Laura lived in for a while but they are now proud owners of a non-mobile home. Their cute digs sit on the side of a scenic hill in Erving, Massachusetts. Along with his musical activities Rob is a much in demand teambuilding facilitator. He's combining his musical and team leading experience in some new musical teambuilding programs. And he's writing the text for another book with Robert Fletcher Sr. Check out their Remembrance book at our Books Are Swell page. The new one will be based on the American Farmer. And speaking of female Elvis impersonators............(I know that's a bad segue but I had to work this in somewhere.) Rob's wonderful significant other, Laura, loves the King and performs shows as a female Elvis impersonator. Check her out at www.ladyelvis.com. It's a great website for a crazy, crazy show. We could all use a little female Elvis in our lives. Don't you think? |

I recently finished writing a three volume blues series. The Beginning Acoustic Blues book has already been released and the Intermediate and Advanced books should be out soon. My first DVD, Beginning Fingerstyle Guitar, is also out and I must say I'm really happy with it. I enjoyed watching it even though I already know how it ends. A Beginning Acoustic Blues DVD is also coming soon and as mentioned on our home page I'm teaching on the Workshoplive online instruction site. I'm so grateful to be able to share my love for the guitar with so many people in so many different ways. |
